The sole owner rights for every photograph displayed at Wilderness Fringe is the photographer whose name is either printed on the image itself, or printed just below. All of the images at Wilderness Fringe are copyrighted original works of art and are protected by United States and international copyright law.

The images displayed are provided free for use under the following conditions:

1. The images must be used only for personal, non-publishing, noncommercial use such as use as computer wallpaper, or to print out for home use.
2. They will not be altered in any way including the removal or alteration of the printed information containing the photographer's name and the URL for Wilderness Fringe.
3. Comps: The 350 pixel images and the 800 pixel enlargements may be used without consent for layout purposes. The 800 pixel versions are available only for those images that photographers have allowed.
