Photographer Klaus Beyer captured the first annual "I Giovani dell'Arte Italian Street Painting Festival" in San Rafael, California in 1994. His work from the festival was later shown at the Marin Civic Center. This is one of his pieces from the event.

The I Giovani dell'Arte Italian Street Painting Festival is a community cultural event which celebrates professional and student artists. The event is patterned after a festival held each year in Grazie di Curtatone, Italy, and follows a European tradition dating from the 16th century.
